This is the first image to be launched from my new observatory in Australia - hosted at the Heaven's Mirror site in NSW.
The Eta carinae nebula has a radius of over 200 light years and is approx 8,500 light years away. This image is the result of over 20 hours of imaging through a range of filters to capture the beauty of this star forming region.
